Win a traditionally woven vintage Welsh blanket from Cunningham White’s Antiques
Handwoven in striking designs and bold colours, woollen Welsh blankets not only look beautiful, they are also incredibly warm. One lucky reader can win a blue and yellow vintage Welsh blanket, worth £225, from decorative antiques and furniture dealers Cunningham White’s. Highly decorative, heavy and snug, the prize blanket is in good, clean condition and would work particularly well with a rustic, wooden interior scheme. Use on a bed, keep on hand for cosy evenings by the fire, or style over chairs and sofas.
Run by Sam Cunningham and Naomi White, Cunningham White’s is based in the historic town of Totnes, Devon, and stocks an eclectic collection of antiques and vintage, ranging from Windsor chairs and oil paintings to neon signs and signage. Very much guided by decorative value, Sam and Naomi believe that antiques are the future. ‘Timeless, quality pieces add so much character to any scheme and can make a house a home,’ says Sam. ‘Such pieces are sustainable – and they haven’t been thrown away because they’ve been made to last. This beautiful Welsh blanket is a perfect example of that.’
