Our latest issue celebrates home rituals and mindful moments

Love is the engine that drives a happy home. From the feeling of relief at arriving at your front door to kicking off your shoes and collapsing on the sofa, surrounded by furniture that friends and family have sat on, a mirror picked up on holiday, the cat curled up in the armchair, love – if we’re lucky – holds it all together. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what you do – a small flat full of personality and emotion is certainly more welcoming than an austere mansion.

So in this issue we celebrate the rituals and care that go into creating a loving abode: the passion that Felicia and George Britton-Read have given their Bath home, fun ways to show your hallway some attention, and effective ideas on using the many and versatile shades of the colour purple.
